Jimmy and Linda left us this morning because of previous trip plans. We are now down to eight members.
This morning several members went to the King Ranch for a special tour. I didn't go with them because the timing wasn't right for me; I would not have had a chance to visit with cousin Barry. I decided that he was more important than the ranch visit. We had an enjoyable visit in his office. We had not seen each other since the 1980s so we had a lot of catching up to do. He has been with the Kingsville Police Department for more than 14 years and is now a Lieutenant. I didn't get to see his wife, Tamara, who is a Major with the department. She works evenings, so she was at home asleep. Barry gave me several souvenirs (mug, sports bottle, pens, pencils and police pins).
Tonight most of our group ate at a very popular nearby seafood restaurant. The food was good but a bit pricey, and our waiter wasn't very attentive.
