After my back therapy this morning, I went to OfficeMax to see about getting packing materials for returning my ailing shredder. The manager asked for my receipt and then pointed out that I had bought a two-year warranty, which allowed me to exchange the shredder. Am I ever glad I went there first!! That saved me a major hassle. They didn’t have one like it, so I chose a smaller one that I like much better. It was $10 less than the old one and, with the new two-year warranty for it, I just had to pay a difference of $16.21. It would have cost me more than that to ship the old one back.
Then I went to Champion Toyota to see whether they had something that I could use to hang clothes on. Sweet Pea does not have any hooks at all. They didn’t have anything that would work and neither did Target or Harbor Freight Tools. Oh, well. It isn’t a critical need.
At Harbor Freight Tools I did find some lashing straps that I can use to secure my desk drawers when I travel. I don’t want a repeat of the toppling file cabinet scenario.
Tonight I packed a few things to take to Huntsville tomorrow for a few days’ visit with cousin Lullene at her Lake Livingston house. I’m looking forward to it.
