Soleil is thrilled to see pandas!

Soleil loves animals.
For this entire trip, Soleil has wanted to go to every zoo we come across. For Christmas we received a zoo pass from my dad and stepmom which offers reciprocity. It means we can get into lots of zoos for free or half price. It has been a gift, and a curse. It now means that I can't say we can't afford to go - when really Aisha and I are just sick and tired of zoos.
Soleil really, really wanted to go to the San Diego Zoo because they have pandas. She really, really, really wanted to see pandas. So, for this leg of our journey, we received another gift from my dad and Ulana; passes to SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo. It is our one non-museum, non-national park splurge.
For SeaWorld, dad threw in a real bonus... we got to have lunch right next to Shamu. We watched the trainers work with four killer whales right up close.
They were both great days, good weather, not crowded and we really took our time and enjoyed all the animals and exhibits.
