As Dorothy said in the Wizard of Oz, "There's no place like...

The colored states are where we spent the night in the RV...

We spent Sunday night camped next to Lake Logan Martin in Alabama. We crossed the Georgia state line on Monday and got to the farm in the afternoon.

We had an amazing two months on the road. We saw so much: New Mexico with the desert, mountains and beautiful adobe architecture; Arizona's painted desert, vermillion cliffs and of course the Grand Canyon; Utah's National Parks with the arches in Arches, hoodoos of Bryce Canyon, amazing formations of Capital Reef and Canyonlands; Yellowstone with its geisers, hot springs, clear rivers, waterfalls and of course wildlife; Montana's big sky and Glacier National Park; The Canadian Rockies in Alberta, Canada and walking on the glacier in the Columbia Icefield; the Black Hills of South Dakota with Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Needles Highway and the Badlands; the fields of wheat, corn and other crops as far as the eye can see; the herds of buffalo, elk, and deer; I could go on and on.

We loved every minute but we are glad to be back home.
