Today I decided to bite the bullet and buy a new computer. My old Dell Latitude is about on its last leg and is extremely slow. None of the usual fixes have worked. I’m afraid it is about to crash. I went to Best Buy and decided on a Hewlett Packard notebook with a 17-inch screen and Windows 10 operating system. The keyboard is wide enough to accommodate a ten-key section, which I really like.
Since I’m new to Windows 10, I thought it best to buy the technical service contract for a year. It could save me a lot of grief and frustration. The Geek Squad is installing the software for me: Office Home & Business 2016, Kaspersky and Firefox. They are also configuring Outlook and installing the latest versions of other software that I have on my old laptop. I just needed to take them my CDs. I’m looking forward to what I hope will be a more pleasurable computer use.
