I don't think I would ride in this plane!!

Gen. Pershing used this to transport supplies to the US troops in...

The Pink House, Palomas, Mexico

Arrived in Deming Jan 5th. We stayed at an Escapees Park. The Escapee are a RV organization which have some campgrounds across the US. If you are a member you can stay there. Lucky that they had the campground in Deming because it got really cold. BRRRR!!!

We all took advantage of the hookups so we had electric. It was averaging about 25 degrees in the morning when we got up and would climb to about 50 during the day.

But being a WIN you always find something to see. LOL

The Desert Membres Museum was really neat. They had something for every interest. A Mexican pottery section, antique furniture, a "mock" western town with different stores, a mineral section with geodes, and fossils, antique cars, and fire engines. I have probably forgotten something.

Pauncho Villa Park gave a lot of history on the bandit. There was a copy of the plane that they flew into Mexico. I don't think I would have wanted to ride in it, it was pretty shakey.

The day before we left we went to Palomas, Mexico to the "Pink Store". They have the BEST margaritas. The first one is free and you have to pay for the rest. Paul, the gentleman that is heading up the trip was our designated driver. What a guy!!
