Our trip from Cape Girardeau, MO to Savannah, TN covered 224 miles with about half of it interstates I-55 and I-155. The intersection of the two interstates was under construction so we had to take a five-mile detour upon leaving I-55 before being able to get to I-155. We crossed the Mississippi River on I-155 then took the back roads through Jackson, TN and on into the campground a little south of Savannah, TN.
We are staying at the Green Acres RV Resort
and have a full hookup, 50 amp, pull-through with the best WiFi we have seen in an RV Park, Columbia Falls RV Park included. They even promote it as being able to stream video without problems. Satellite sighting was quick and easy and we have great Verizon coverage. The site is one of the largest we have had in an RV Park.
We head for Red Bay, AL tomorrow for as long as it takes to get everything we need done accomplished: jack repair, installation of new headlights and tank sensor remote, wash and wax, and radiator cleaning.
