Breakfast at the Super 8 motel waffles, sausage patty, eggs, cereal and coffee, loaded up and off to the Great Sands Dune. Hike up on to the dunes about a third of the way was looking like rain so headed down, had some rain there during the night. Then off to the Colorado Gator farm, it started out as a Tilapia fish farm, they brought in the alligators to eat the fish that died. The area is heated by geothermal water so the gator pond never freeze and now it is a rescue facility for gators and other reptiles. There are more then 400 gators of varying sizes with a few albinos ones, rattlesnakes, pythons and iguanas. They are still raising fish but now it mostly for seeing the gators. Now it is off to Wolf Creek Pass and home, it has been a very nice scenic drive see all the leaves changing colors. See on my next adventures
