Anchorage Visitors Center

Sea Lions at the Alaska Sealife Center

Resurrection House Restaurant

We left Talkeetna early this morning toward Anchorage with Seward being our final destination later on in the afternoon. Upon arriving in Anchorage, we got a brief city tour, including the downtown historic district. Everyone was then given time to do a little exploring and have lunch on their own. Outside of Anchorage, we visited the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. The mission of this center is to care for injured and orphaned wildlife. Off again, after arriving in Seward, our first stop was at the Alaska Sealife Center. Here we were able to watch sea lions, harbor seals, and puffins. We then checked into the Seward Windsong Lodge where everyone had dinner in the Resurrection House Restaurant. Here at the Resurrection House, we dined on everything from halibut to caribou. Tonight, we all had to make sure to put our cruise ship tags on our luggage because tomorrow is "cruise day!"
