Have to say, my first impressions of Granada are yuck! The buildings are beautiful, the plaza is large, there are tourists everywhere, but as I sat in the park like I have in Managua, Leon and Masaya, in five minutes I was hassled for money probably 10 times. In the other places I could sit and never be hassled. Went to the market, couple of kids eyeing up my bag, did the stop, cross the road, yep they followed, I stopped and turned around and faced them. I discovered when travelling in Bolivia this just freaks out would be pickpockets. They're so intent on watching you that when you catch them they don't know what to do.
Meet up with my sister Di and her friend Justine which will be great to travel with them.
May be Granada will grow on me.... may be me and Granada just got off to a bad start.
