Travel to western IL was same old/ same old. We have made this trip many many times. The only thing I noticed was the brown color - ripe corn, ripe beans, dying grasses. It was like the countryside was getting me ready for AZ.

Got to Timberview Lake campground and there was no one in the office - we parked in our usual site and set up camp. Still no one to take our money. In fact - no one ever showed up - we finally saw someone at the office (3 days later) and Ron went down and paid for the site.

Spent afternoons and evenings with Sue, Tim and the girls. They have grown so much since we saw them last. The oldest two are becoming such pretty young ladies. The three little ones are so cute. DGD#5 is a chatter box and one of the biggest flirts I have ever seen.

Last December our newer Gateway computer had quit working. We took it to a repair shop in Yuma where they said it was unrepairable. (But they would give me $100 for parts) I kept it and brought it to my son-in-law last June when we were here. All it needed was a new hard drive - so it had been waiting here for me since then. When it died, we bought a new Toshiba to go along with our old Toshiba so we would each have a laptop. To make a long story short - These last three days I have been moving software and files from the old Toshiba to the Gateway with the plan of leaving the old Toshiba with our granddaughters. It has been quite a job and my eyes are still crossing from being on the computer all that time.

The time sped by too fast - we will see the girls again next summer and will stay longer.
