So we go our own way and I head fo the Loir Valley. The ride today was flatter and more rural. Loads od road-kill. All kinds of road-kill; Not just your usual rabbit but pheasants, badgers, red-squirrels and lots of little birds.....I think the French drivers are too quick for them or else it is a national sport.
The smells on the route qre qlso more pungent today. All sorts of pooh type smells.....aaahhh the beautiful country air.
I enter the Loir valley at about 'pm and decide to camp in le Chatre du Loir. A beautiful small village beside the baby of the Loir rivers.
