We arrived in Savona, Italy this morning. We took the bus provided by the cruise to the main shopping area and did some shopping. We spotted a cool little tour train that looked like it would be a fun one to ride. The price was reasonable, about $7 Euros a piece. We had to wait about 30 minutes for the next ride, I took time to take pictures of the area while we waited.
We finally got on the train and it took us about a mile into the city, someone crossed the street in front of the train, he had to hit the breaks really fast and it broke the cable or something on the train. We had to wait for the owners to show up and refund our money before walking all the way back. We could not find a taxi anywhere. Easter is a huge holiday here and everything was closed. It was a nice walk back with all the markets in the street to stop and explore at least. We returned to the ship and watched the Pilot boats helping the ship get ready to sail. We will be in Naples tomorrow. I hope you enjoy the pictures, check back later for more. Happy Easter to all our family and friends!
