It's been an incredibly busy 2 weeks. We made a quick trip to Vegas and even though it was VERY hot we had a nice time. We used the pool several times and it felt wonderful. And we had a neat time at Miss Jasmine's birthday party. There were many family members in attendance and friends as well. Our great-grandson Ryan was there and he will be 2 years old this month as well. Ryan was trying his best to hug & kiss on Miss Jasmine but she wasn't having much to do with it. But it was too cute!

We filled our prescriptions, stocked up at Wal-mart and searched in vain for a running board for the truck. So, I went online and ordered one so that it will arrive in Ely before we leave for SD. We both got haircuts and I got a pedicure. Onyx visited her favorite groomer for one final visit until we return in the late fall. A fast, hectic visit unfortunately. We had hoped to visit a few more of our friends while there but we just ran out of time. Next visit for sure.

Monday evening we had dinner with Larry & Tawnia as well as Tessa, Jermaine and Sharon. Tawnia's prepared Frito pie, one of my favorites and it was yummy as usual. Brownies and ice cream for dessert. Then we played 2 short hands of Hand & Foot, mostly to help teach Tessa so when she returns to Canada on Thursday she can continue to play. All too soon it was time to say our goodbye's. Six months seems like an eternity, but time flies quickly and we'll be back before we can blink twice!

I'm still way behind in posting but will catch up over the next few days. Night.....
