We went from the bright neon lights and sounds of slot machines in casinos in Las Vegas to the brilliant reds of the canyon peaks and sounds of the Virgin River in Watchman Campground in Zion National Park. Zion is beautiful. We took a hike along the Virgin River and rode the shuttle through Zion Canyon one day. The next day we went on a ranger led trip through the canyon in the morning and drove to the east side through the Zion-Mt. Carmel tunnel in the afternoon. We saw a herd of about ten Big horn sheep just off the road.

To all of you fellow RVers, we went throught the Zion-Mt. Carmel tunnel when we left. It was no big deal. You need reservations for the Watchman campground. It has electric hookups but no water at the site. We had a big site right on the Virgin River and would highly recommend it.
