Flagstaff to Albuquerque
Jul 22, 2016
|I rolled out of bed at 4:30 this morning and took my shower, then dressed and sipped a cup of coffee while chatting with my lovely spouse.
I then left her to take care of the inside of the RV while I took care of the outside items.
We hooked up and were ready to go at 10 minutes before 7:00 this morning.
We stopped in Gallup for fuel and arrived at the American RV Park in Albuquerque exactly five and ½ hours after leaving our Park in Flagstaff.
Marilyn was texting back & forth with our friends, Eddie & Jan, and they did not have their RV back yet, so they drove over and visited with us while they waited to hear from Camping World.
We all decided to go out to get something to eat so we rode with Eddie & Jan. I was hungry for a good old hamburger and we found a spot right down the road.
After enjoying our meal we returned to our RV for a while, and then they left to go pick up their RV.
We’ll see each other tomorrow after we get a good night of sleep.
It was a good drive today on highways mostly smooth, except for more than a few construction areas.
We hated to leave J & H RV Park in Flagstaff with the normal wonderful weather, and realized how nice that was when we arrived in Albuquerque with a high temperature of 99 to 100 degrees. Now we are looking forward to arriving at Mountaindale next Wednesday, where we hope to rediscover those cooler temperatures.
