Another beautiful harbor town where I found craftsman still able to work on the old ships of the past and keep the new ones prowling the seas for fish and lobsters. Great houses which are now Inn’s for the tourist and shops with every trinket the heart desires, also they have a candle stick bowling alley, good restaurants for me and homemade ice cream for Guinness. I met a couple who where celebrating their 68th wedding anniversary and where from Northeast MD. small world. While in Boothbay I called Ruth, the lady who made the Silhouette of Guinness and me, she invited us to have lunch with her and her husband at their house in Damariscotta with a wonderful view of the river.
