Today I drove about 230 miles and was ready to stop by the time I reached West Monroe, Louisiana. Tonight I'm staying at the Pavilion RV Park just off I-20. It is a fairly nice Passport America park. It's across from a Pilot Truck Stop but doesn't seem to be very noisy. My site was close to the back.
This morning I called Cousin Cecil to check on him. He said that he is feeling well and does not notice any symptoms of his light stroke. His blood pressure is down and he is checking it regularly. His doctor wants him to have an MRI done before Thanksgiving.
I called the Escapees Rainbow's End RV Park in Livingston tonight to make sure there would be a site available for me tomorrow evening. The park is nearly full, so I may have to settle for a dry-camping site for a day or two. It will be a long day's drive from West Monroe to Livingston. I set my alarm so I won't sleep too long in the morning.
