Today is our son Larry's birthday so we have to give a shout out to him! Happy Birthday Honey, we love you!!!!!

We're leaving in a few minutes to spend the afternoon in Prescott but wanted to check in with you all first. Hope you all had a lovely Easter day. We attended a small Baptist Church in Old Town in the morning and then enjoyed spending the afternoon with Dick & Lou. They prepared a baked ham with all the trimmings for dinner and it was delicious. Lou gave us some leftover ham to make a pot of navy beans. I prepared it yesterday but haven't eaten any of it yet. Maybe later today when we get back home.

The temps here in Arizona continue to run in the high 60's to low 70's. The darn wind just doesn't seem to let up though and the pollen is in the air! My allergy's are driving me nuts. Good thing I have these little pink pills, they seem to help a bit. And if that's all I have to complain about, then life must be good!

One last thing. My Aunt Joyce was taken to the hospital on Easter day. She lives in Garden Grove, California so it's not possible to visit her at this time. She went into intensive care for 2 days and was then moved to another hospital as they were having trouble diagnosing her issues. Her blood sugar was around 40 and they finally diagnosed her with pneumonia. At the second hospital they determined she had had 2 heart attacks and was suffering with a heart blockage so they put in a stent. We understand that as of late last night she is finally responsive and doing better. Prayers would be greatly appreciated!
