We have our usual slightly unlevel site 5 at Punderson. It is a full-hookup 50-amp site with good satellite.
The first activity for our visit was to join the Davises on Tuesday morning for their weekly breakfast with their neighbors at Bob Evans. It’s always good to see Dee and Ken and their neighbors were an interesting group.
On Wednesday we drove across the south suburbs of Cleveland to my sister, Charlene’s, house where we were joined by her daughter, Mandy, her granddaughter, Karolyn, my brother, Bob, and his daughter, Sarah. We got some fried chicken and had a nice visit. Charlene has two dogs, Bo andTwiggy, that Annie visited with mostly in the back yard.
Thursday was movie and dinner day with Ken and Dee and Mary Ann Mraz and Bob W. We all agreed that the movie, Snatch, was one of the worst that we have seen. But we had a nice dinner visit.
On Sunday both Mandy and I were entered in races in downtown Cleveland. Mandy, who had done a half marathon two weeks before, ran the 10K while I ran the half. She did well. I finished my race. Mandy and her son, Tyler, joined Bob and Char back at the Phaeton for an after-race gettogether. We had lasagna from a nearby restaurant and Bob brought hot dogs. Ken and Dee joined us a bit later.
We had a farewell dinner with the Davises last night and are moving to North East today.
