There's a hole dead ahead!

The colors don't do this justice!

Shari, Uncle Ed & Aunt De...So good to see them again!

Love you guys, see you again next year!!!

Sculpture near Fort Caspar, our home for the evening :)

So, I am going to jump around a bit in posting as I'm running behind & it's easier to give you our current ramblings now. But, we've seen some beautiful sights, done some fun things with friends, taken a road trip or two without the rig & just generally been having a great time. Our time in the Black Hills flew by all too quickly but winter is approaching quickly & it was time to head South. Friends stopped by for our morning departure & we made a stop in Edgemont near the Wyoming border for lunch with more friends. Wow, it's always hard leaving these wonderful folks. They are all more like family & they are wonderful with Larry & I each & every year. Fortunately we'll see some of them this Spring in other parts of the country.

We landed in Rock Springs, Wyoming about 4pm mountain time today. Spent last night in Casper, Wyoming and enjoyed a nice evening & meal with cousin Shari, Uncle Ed and Aunt De. Uncle Ed (Sonny) is Mom's younger brother & we try to stop either coming or going to Custer, SD each year for a visit. Always good to see them, hear their latest news & share with Mom when we get home. She looks forward to that news & current pictures too!

The drive from South Dakota to Wyoming was lovely yesterday. Many clouds, both light & dark with the sun dancing in and out. Cool rays shining down on the highway made for a very interesting drive! It began to sprinkle toward the end of our travel day & continued through most of the evening. We spent the night at Fort Caspar & for those of you that travel & belong to Passport America we discovered they no longer accept that discount card. They did give us a bit of a break in the nightly rate but we're bummed about them dropping out of the plan. We may stay at the Fairgrounds next time, which by the way, is where we are camped here in Rock Springs.

Well, that's it for now. It's 6pm and my hubby & dog both seem to think it's time for dinner :) Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon!
