Hanging with Barb & Steve McIntyre

We thought our GPS would take us on new roads today towards Spearfish, SD but it brought us back into Wyoming, through Gillette. Oh well, same lovely scenery, rolling hills, oil pumps, snow fenses, power plants (remember Wyoming is the Power Capital of the Nation), coal plants and coal trains, cattle.

We learned that the Black Hills of South Dakota are called black because they look dark from a distance due to the forestation on the hills.

We met up with Barb & Steve McIntyre again in our campground in Spearfish (we had been with them in Gillette), to spend a couple days with them.
