Yesterday we took a short trip to Sedona. We invited Dick & Lou to ride along. Our first stop was at the Chamber of Commerce where we picked up maps and additional information about the surrounding area. While there we discovered that Sedona Revolution Tours offers a state-of-the-art Sedona GPS Ranger tour allowing us to explore Sedona in the comfort of our own vehicle while having a "local expert" guide us.

We watched a short film demonstrating the 'Ranger'. Three complete tours are included for a full day adventure at a price of $27. The GPS unit starts automatically as you drive. Audio plays over the car speakers and video plays on the 'Ranger' screen for passengers to view. Sounded good to us, but since it was already early afternoon, we decided to wait until Tuesday.

Moving on we located the entrance to the L'Auberge Bed & Breakfast, nestled in the towering Red Rocks along the banks of Oak Creek. Larry & I spent our honeymoon there 25 years ago in 1985. We never miss a chance to visit the property and are amazed at the changes there each time. Ahh, I guess time marches on! There were no phones or TV's in the cabins years ago but we noticed flat screens mounted on the walls today. There's a new outdoor restaurant, a spa, a lodge and the list goes on. Still, we enjoyed sharing it with Dick & Lou and reliving a bit of our past.

Our next stop was up Airport Road where we stopped briefly at a Farmer's market. But the main event was the view just across the road! Capitol Butte, Chimney Rock and Coffee Pot Rock were just a few of the formations we had a bird's eye view off. Spectacular! I could have stayed all day! But the guys were ready to move on to the airport where we enjoyed a drink watching the private planes come in and take off. All too soon it was time to head home but it was growing dark and we were all ready for dinner.

We arrived home and whipped up a quick dinner, followed by Wii bowling. That was fun, we haven't bowled in awhile. Today we puttered around the house, then made a quick run to Wal-Mart for a few things. Larry fueled up as we plan to meet the Shoff's at 8:30am in the morning for our day of touring. I'm actually hoping for the clouds to move in tonight. There weren't any today, and clouds make prettier pics! Larry says "I'm nuts". I think he's kidding, well, I hope he's kidding, LOL! Either way, we're packing a picnic lunch and we plan to have a great time!
