Whale Sculpture at Alder Acres RV Park,Coos Bay, Oregon

This morning finding a church to attend was an adventure. I had identified the Nazarene church as one that had an 8:30 service, so I was up early in order to arrive on time. When I arrived at 8:15, I discovered that they weren't having a service at the church today. Instead, they were meeting at the high school football stadium with several other churches to participate in an ecumenical service at 10:30. The pastor was there, however, and he told me of another church that has a 9:00 service and gave me directions to it; so I went there. The people were friendly, so I enjoyed it.

I hurried home and got my chores done before check-out time. Barb and I were on the road again by 11:00. It was a pleasant drive along a pretty route.

After we had gotten settled into our sites, we went to the Kozy Kitchen for lunch. Service was very slow, in spite of the fact that it was after 2:00 when we arrived.
