Yesterday Carl and Marge Perry arrived as new CARE residents. While they were here in late August, they had applied for residency at CARE. It was during that visit that Carl entertained us with a Native American flute concert.
I saw Carl at breakfast this morning and he invited me to come to their site to try out some of his flutes so I could decide which one I want to learn. I had hoped to get a bass flute but, because of its size, I couldn’t reach the holes. Bummer! I ended up taking a much smaller A minor flute. Carl said that most beginners start with that one. I’ve been practicing the scales today. I’m looking forward to starting the lessons.
