Lunch in the mistral - not really just wind they say

Perfume distillery - such a HUGE business

A tiny fraction of the perfumes

A little of what the gps has to navigate, tell me where...

170 km/h winds last night in the mountains near us. Just a little windy at the beach and as we didn't know about the windy mountains off we went. Steep grandure. Although windy another pleasant day enjoying the delights of the hinterland. Again lots of history and in one village no cars. The streets are still the same from medieval times and will not fit cars. No idea how they get deliveries to their houses. We look so local a French couple asked us directions! All done, no worries. At lunch in a typical Provencial cafe I asked the waitress in my best Australian (as she spoke English) if the wind was the mistral. She pointed me to the rest rooms! Bother can't even speak English! It continued as a running joke throughout our meal. Lovely freindly people. Came home to our washing done and folded by the hotel owner, AND a bottle of wine and after dinner biscuits. Going to be hard to leave this place. Still haven't swum yet as I can't seem to shake this cold.
