Heading East
13 August - This is Annie’s last day in the USA, and we were up at 6 and out by 8 to start the long drive to the airport. After dropping her off at SeaTac around 2ish, I continued driving east with the intention of getting out of the Seattle metro area before rush hour. About 20 miles east of the city, I located a Costco in Issaquah and enjoyed a 1000 calorie meal deal (dog and churro) and refueled. Being the big Costco fan that I am, I was thrilled to learn that this store is located adjacent to the Costco Headquarters and that they were founded just a few miles from here in Kirkland, hence the “Kirkland Signature“ store brand. “And now you know……………the rest of the story”

After my food and gas break, I continued on to the RV friendly Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant parking lot in Cle Elum where I spent the night.
