We arrived in the boondocks at Lake Adventure Association near Milford, PA. It is a private resort that allows about 14 Coast to Coast members to camp here. When we arrived we tried to park unsuccessfully in the assigned space. To many trees. I got stuck where I could not go either forward or backwards. We finally removed a stop sign so I could back out. We saw another Coast to Coast site nearby and we ended up parking there. It was a great way to meet the neighbors. Two of the guys came out and helped with the parking. They told me that nobody over 30 feet has ever got into that site, and most of the long ones have even damaged their rig. I did not touch anything so we were undamaged. For the first time we have not satellite because of the trees, and we have no over the air television either.
The next day we visited with one of the couples, while we were talking with them on their patio, a black bear walked by us. It was only about 30 feet from us. Unfortunately I did not have my camera. I went back to the rig and got my camera but by then it had gone into the forest. They invited us to join them the next day to go to the flea market at the resort and then to breakfast at the local firehouse. The firemen were having a fund raiser. For $6 you got all you could eat breakfast, scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, country potatoes, french toast, pancakes, pastries, apple pie, orange juice and coffee. It was us and the two couples we met while parking. After that we went to another flea market. That evening we were invited to their campfire and it was us and 3 other couples there.
We didn't do any site seeing around here as we are in the sticks.
