|A soft knock on the door at 7:15 this morning signaled that our room service order of coffee, juice, and croissants had arrived.
Marilyn & I shared that on the balcony as the swishing sound of the ship passing through the water did little to wake us.
I did go topside to the sports court and shot baskets for about 45 minutes. Then I took a shower and dressed for the day.
Eddie & Jan met us near the Horizon Court for a breakfast buffet, which filled us quite well. In fact, we were so full that we chose to pass on lunch.
However, Marilyn, Jan, and I did go to the seafood bar in the middle of the afternoon, where we shared a sampler platter of oysters on the half shell, sushi, oyster shooters, and a crab cocktail. It was aa delicious and made even better by the great music serenading us from the Atrium.
A nap back in the cabin, made us feel quite well and ready for the German Dinner offered as an alternative to eating in the Dining Room.
That food was also wonderful and we all ate until we could hold no more.
As soon as we were finished with our dinner we once again walked to the theater to see and hear that same comedian once again.
The material was all new and we laughed and had enjoyed ourselves for about an hour.
A karaoke bar followed with some pretty good talent, before we all separated to do our own things.
Eddie went to the Casino, Jan and Marilyn strolled around listening to the different musicians playing in different parts of the ship, and I returned to the stateroom to write of our day.
