This morning we continued south on I-5 to Sacramento where we plan to spend the next three days. This time the entire drive was flat.
On the way down, I received a call from cousin Wanda telling me that she has a terrible cold and sore throat. She isn't feeling up to doing anything right now except trying to rest. We hope to visit on Sunday.
After I got set up in my RV site, I called cousins, Robbie and Lana and friend, Wanda Beck. I had to leave voice messages for all three. Robbie called back to say that she and her husband, Bob, are in Reno for a few days to celebrate her birthday. I'm sorry that I won't be able to see her on this trip; but she deserves a change of pace and I wish her a very happy birthday.
Barb and I had dinner tonight at Applebee's, which is practically just around the corner from the RV park. I brought home more than I ate.
When we returned home, I noticed that my water connection was leaking. It's pretty hard to hide on concrete! I replaced a washer and that seemed to take care of the problem.
While I was doing that, I noticed the sunset. This park may not be much for beauty but that gorgeous sunset made up for it. WOW!! Of course, I had to interrupt my maintenance activities to photograph the wonderful 'painting' in the sky.
