Last one!

Today is Ed’s birthday, we want to say a very Happy Birthday, Ed! Ed is a wonderful son-in-law to us, a great husband and father to Vickie and Sam, we love and appreciate him very much. He allows Vickie and Sam to visit us each summer while he stays at home and works. They don’t get any better than that. :-)

We had another incredible day in Europe, we drove across Germany to a tiny town of Hofen, Austria. The drive was amazing, we especially loved driving though the town of Lindau, Germany and seeing Lake Constance. We wished we had stayed there longer, we didn’t get as many lake pictures as we wished. I would highly recommend this special German town for a longer stay.

We also drove part of the Alpine Road. This road is like driving though a fairy tale through the Alpine peaks. It is a winding 300 mile tour through the majestic panorama of the Bavarian Alps, from Lindau on Lake Constance to Berchtesgaden on Lake Königssee, driving through the greatest hits of the Alps. We stopped for the night in the little town of Hofen, Austria. It was amazing! I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. We could easily spend a month right in this tiny town of Austria, we all loved it. Check back later for more from Austria.
