Today was especially busy. First, Wanda and I met some other women at a parking lot to carpool to Chowchilla to their quilting class. After the lesson, they had show and tell. One lady had won two blue ribbons at the county fair. Some of the other ladies had won ribbons, too. Wanda had won a red ribbon on her picture of silk flowers but she had forgotten to take it. I hope she will remember to take it next time.
After the class, she and I had lunch at the Black Bear Diner. I enjoyed my ham sandwich and spinach-mushroom soup.
After a quick trip home to check on the bathroom remodeling project, we went to her prayer group’s meeting at the home of one of the members. They put me on their prayer list for my degenerated spine. I need all the help I can get!! The hostess served coffee and yummy homemade berry pie.
Tonight we met the other Becks at the Black Bear Diner, where Myra treated us all to dinner. She was wearing the gorgeous emerald necklace and earrings which the five brothers had given her for her birthday. Afterwards, we went to another brother's house for desserts.
