A huge metal Bald Eagle

From the sunny side

Bunch of these coffe shops around and always cars waiting to be...

We didn't do a whole lot this week but vegetate! It was hotter here Monday through Thursday than was at our home in NE Florida with highs around 93 to 94. I told the RV park owner that we didn't drive 2,700 miles to stay in hotter weather than home and she just smiled!! :-) All the snow has finally melted off this range of mountains closet to us but the much higher range inside Glacier NP still has a lot of snow.

Speaking of Glacier, they have now opened the Going to the Sun road all the way up to Logan Pass from the West side. Coming in from the East side is still closed due to construction. We will try to get up to Logan Pass before leaving here just to see how it looks this time of year since our prior visit was in the Fall. We will then see the East side from St. Mary when we come back in from Canada the first part of August.

We did make our weekly shopping trip into Kalispell and had another great meal at a family restaurant we have found there, Doris even had her liver and onions. I have included a couple of pictures we took on that trip. One is of a huge bald eagle that a local business has on its premises made of metal. To see how large it is, compare it to the crane sitting next to it in the first picture. The last picture is of one of the half-million espresso/coffee stands in the area. It seem they are on every corner around here.
