Our RV trip around Atlantic Canada 2009 travel blog

Driving down the Trans-Canadian highway, it reminds me of driving through “Heads of the Valley” (South Wales). Wide dual carriageway carved through the mountains, scree slopes and rock faces lining the sides. Green hills on the tops, trees and fields. Alex saw a red deer.

Decided to get some fuel so dropped into the town of Florenceville-Bristol. From here we followed the smaller roads alongside the river. Now it looks like Scotland, inlets off the river look like the lochs. It is raining like in Scotland also. Torrential downpours, in between heavy showers.

McCain’s have a large presence in this area with several factories, potatoes are king here.
