Return Home

We are camped in Newburgh, New York and this is the start of our caravan. The first phase is a tour of the Hudson Valley. Today was our first bus tour. We got on the bus at 8 AM and headed to the West Point Military Academy. We had to have our ID checked in order to go in. We started in the Visitors Center and the West Point Museum. After that we took on a guide and she guided us around the campus on the bus with three stops. I have included a ton of the pictures. After that we headed for The Brotherhood Winery, which is the oldest winery in the United States, starting in 1839. We started that off with lunch and then a walking tour of the winery. It was the best tour so far of a winery, but we only got to see the old stuff, not the moder machinery. After the tour there was wine tasting and for Susan, wine buying (4 bottles). We got home at 4 PM. At the campground we have this lady that walks Tootsie, so that is real nice.
