We had another one of those “WOWSER” days in the park, this time we visited both the Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. We went from Jackson Hole to the Moran Entrance to the Tetons and then into the South Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It is going to take a lot of visits to see everything we want to see in both parks.
What a beautiful place to camp. There is so much beauty to see in this incredible area. We were blessed with lots of wildlife, we saw herds of bison all over the place and tons of elk. My favorite picture of the day was a baby elk with spots all over his body, he looks more like a baby deer. He was beautiful!
We stopped for a nice picnic in the park and had to look for a table that was not covered with snow. Some of the lakes were still frozen showing mini icebergs floating in the water. When we got to the geyser area, it started to pour rain. We had to view them from the car, but the rain finally stopped on the way back to Jackson. We stopped for more beautiful views on the drive back including waterfalls and more wildlife. It was another “WOWSER” day in TWO parks, check back later for more awesome trips to the Tetons and Yellowstone National Park. I have loaded a lot of pictures and hope you enjoy. ;-)
