Bob and Annie on Safari travel blog

Cute - like a vase of tulips at varied stages of stem-flop!

A very wee little one, with a wary dad - can you...

Wildebeest enjoying a moment of peaceful grazing

The zebras seem a tad more alert

Sunbaking, yikes

Beautiful kudu sneaking a wary drink

Muddy antlers after marking their territory

The ever-present fish eagle

Quite a size differential between the impala and kudu, but best buddies...

Another magic little roller finally stays still for us!

Big start to the day - the flood plains are in a semi-dry state in parts, and its like driving over muddy mounds - very slow and arduous. The mud is deeply pocketed by hippo and elephant footprints which is what makes it so completely broken up.
