At St Stephens I found Ganong’s Chocolates factory and they had tours so we had to go and we were the first to go in when it opened at 9:00AM. In the rooms of the museum they had bowls of chocolates to sample, what a way to start a day. I felt sorry for Guinness but he didn’t seem to mind. After the tour, fill up of chocolate we crossed the border into Calais, ME. They let us back in without any problems and we headed south east in the rain, stopped to see the marker for the 45th Parallel which is half way between the North Pole and the equator. We went to a campground at Lubec to hunker down for the Northeaster rain storm witched poured for hours and the wind rocked us to sleep. In the morning we left the easternmost campground to go to the easternmost lighthouse and point of the USA. On the way to Bar Harbor we stopped at Blueberry and got some good eats like Blueberry scones and Blueberry soda.
