The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

We decided as we were so close to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg we would spend the next week exploring one of Europe's smallest states a mere 85km just over 50 miles from top to bottom.

We had passed through Luxembourg several times before on our way to other parts of the continent but had never spent time exploring the state.

We left Aachen and headed south through Belgium. The weather was wet so visibility was poor which was a shame as we were travelling through part of the Ardennes. The initial road from the motorway was interesting and a little narrow and twisty at times. However once we crossed into Luxembourg the roads were no problem despite going up and down the various hills

We found the campground OK and as we had previously campground we parked on the access road to their group camping area. Electricity had been laid on and at 10 Euros a night we were not complaining.

Just hoping the weather improves
