June 28 Thursday

Today we woke up a leisurely time, bought 2 shuttle tickets to go into Dublin. We shopped for a shirt that would fit Chas, a Blarney Stone, and a children’s book. Mary needed booze, a pin, and Irish Christmas ornament. Terry & Don took our tour tickets for the day. So off we went successful in our shopping endeavors. Had a coke a piece in an Irish pub and ta da managed to find the spot where the port bus dropped us off. Boarded the bus back to the Brilliance of the Seas but the driver said he didn’t need to see our tickets. Odd but ok we settled into the unairconditioned bus. We had not gone far when it was clear we were on the wrong bus and headed to the wrong ship the P O Andorra. After explaining they said just ride our bus back to the original drop off point and get on the right bus......and so we did. A 20 minute trip took an hour. Dick immediately took a nap I grabbed my book & found a quiet place to read.

At four Terry, Mary and I met up for Name This person Trivia and won the illusive Royal Caribbean pens. Lost miserably Trivia at five. Woke up the men ate dinner and headed to the theater for the Love and Marriage game show. Dick and I were chosen as the couple who were not newlyweds or longest marriage but in the middle. Terry and Don were the couple longest married on the first cruise. We were up against a couple who had been married 2 weeks and one that had been married 69 years. Second place, a little humiliating but not enough to leave the ship.

Then we went and played Liar Liar which we could have won because it was the exactly same as the first cruise but choose to let someone else win the genuine plastic, logoed water bottles.

This was enough to send us to our rooms to prepare for a seven hour day in Wales tomorrow.
