Flute Class - Carl Perry (Instructor), Lewis Turner and Glenda Alexander.jpg

This afternoon Lewis Turner and I met with Carl Perry for our first Native American flute lesson. Mary Deen had planned to take part in it but was feeling ill today. Lewis did really well. I was mediocre! I’m having trouble keeping the sixth hole covered, so I produce some uncertain sounds when I need to use that hole. Ugh! I hope to improve my performance quickly. I don’t want Lewis to get too far ahead of me. :>)

Carl and Marge are leaving tomorrow for a month-long trip and expect to be back by December 4, when our flute circle starts officially. In the meantime, Lewis, Mary and I can meet to practice together.
