View from the window above our bed - million dollars worth???

Yes Shaz, this photo was taken here, not Broome, as you thought!!

Pathway to beach right at our door.

The Aussie way - kicking a ball wherever possible. Sharon, RJay and...

......and again.

Back on Jan 2nd, Sharon asked us if we would like to join them, and their friends, here in Coral Bay in Sept. I tried to get us booked in, but was unsuccessful as the park was fully booked for school hols until 2018!!! I explained that we would have been travelling away for 4 months by then and that members of our family would be here, so they took my number in case of an improbable cancellation. On 27th Jan, they rang with a 10 day booking, covering Sharon's 7 day stay, which we accepted immediately - then decided against telling them we would be here.

So we arrived on Wed 14th having had an overnight stop at Fortescue Roadhouse following a 12 hour drive from Broome. An excited 3 days until they finally drove in around 3.30pm on Saturday 17th. Yes, plenty of excitement, for sure.

Is windy here which does detract a little from the gorgeous setting of this bay, protected by the World Class Ningaloo Reef - we all got sunburnt yesterday, Sunday, on the beach while there was a calm day!!

Sharon and family leave for home on Friday, and we follow on Saturday, and plan on being home by the end of the month.

What a wonderful 4 months this has been for us - many exciting adventures and many new places visited, and familiar ones revisited by choice.
