Happy campers once again! We're settled in a favorite spot, Elkhart County Fairgrounds. A volcanic meltdown was eminent secondary to hanging in limbo since 5/13 without a refrigerator. Troopers, though, we were suffering from threatening weather and inadequate hook-ups. Short periods are tolerable; certainly not weeks. While in St Louis, we became "educated" regarding St Louis ribs a/o barbecue. One hundred years ago St Louis was a major hog producer. However, the claim to fame is pork steaks-mammoth 18 ounce steaks cut from a pork shoulder smoked out back! No picture this time. I was too lazy to get the camera. It seems heavenly located here with a row of pines and a nice grass field behind us. We marveled at the fact even a hawk came to visit! Yes, it's hot; AC is running; the wind is blowing gently for outdoor excursions. Our day timer is set for a few upgrade appointments and then it's the big Heartland Rally next week. We are quite excited about attending. Even now there are a few Big Horn early arrivals just as we are here. Enjoy the pictures!
