Sheffield Park Garden

Today dawned cool but clearing. We set out for Bodiam Castle, and started with a cream tea morning tea, for which I have much pennance to perform upon my return. I also joined Helen and I up to the National Trust after our tour.

We went back to Sissinghurst for lunch, and the picked Sheffield Park Garden as an afternoon venture. The small roads in Kent proved to be fantastic....autumn colours, and "tree tunnels" as Robert and Millie later called them.

Sheffield Park was even more wonderful. The House is not available for viewing, but the gardens were full of colour, and the sun came out to make them even brighter.

Dinner was a wonderful mushroom risotto.
