The Massachusetts Capitol in Boston

It's becoming a blur especially when I don't get to this every evening and then I have to try and remember particular events on particular days and since New Hampshire we have been to 5 capitols. Yes, it definitely is becoming blurry!

Let's see, Boston was Monday evening. We rented a car from Thrifty at the Worcester Regional airport (the car rental agent let us park in his parking lot for the two nights we were in town - that was very nice of him!) and we decided to take a quick trip into Boston that evening so we could make the proclamation at the Rhode Island and Connecticut capitols the next day with the rental car before we had to turn it back in. Finding the capitol in Boston turned out to be a forgetable experience, quoting Frances, "I like seeing Boston best from the rear view mirror." We drove around for a couple of hours before we finally found it. And it wasn't like Steve didn't stop and ask for directions - which he did, a few times in fact - it was just that Boston is so very confusing.

This is the first state capitol that we have visited this trip that was fenced and locked. We were there after hours so had to make the proclamation on the street sidewalk in front of the capitol. Lots of people and cars going by, but very little interest in what we were doing.
