After we left Toronto, we decided to stop just short of the border for an overnight just in case there was a long line to get across. We found an RV camp just off the highway and drove in.
As I got out to register, I noticed an odor of manure in the air which you often smell in Canadian farm country, but figured it would pass. WRONG! The farmer close to the camp was spraying his fields and the smell continued the entire time we were there. It was awful! We kept all the windows and vents closed and still it would permeate occasionally. I would have taken a picture, but I didn't want to stand outside that long.
We decided to drive into Sarnia to get away from it and do some shopping and hopefully find one last good fish and chips. Mission accomplished. We found The Wharf which had great fish and chips.
