This afternoon I saw Dr. Mark Sanders, the chiropractor who helped me with my torn rotator cuff in 2006. He performed several adjustments and therapies for my degenerated spine and I’m already feeling much better. He has those magic fingers! My next appointment is scheduled for Monday, October 19.
After my therapy, I stopped by a bank to get some rolls of quarters for laundry machines. It doesn’t take long to use up a roll of them.
Then I went to visit my friend, Bernice Polvado. She is in an assisted living facility now and is so terribly thin and frail. It was one year ago on October 7 that she fell on her patio while moving a water hose and broke so many bones. She and I had made plans for lunch the next day but, of course, the fall scrapped those plans. The poor little thing has suffered terribly ever since and is now unable to do anything for herself. My heart aches for her.
Our mutual friend, Karen Enterline, was there feeding her and tending to other needs. She does this Tuesday and Thursday evenings. After Bernice had taken her medications and was ready to go to sleep, Karen and I went to the shopping center next door to eat at Church’s Chicken. We had a nice visit.
