|We had a good night of sleep and left Carthage right at 8:00 this morning.
The drive was easy and we made good time until we reached the stoplights in Bella Vista and in Benton, Arkansas.
Even at that we pulled into Wheels RV right at 9:30.
That was a short drive!
The nice folks at Wheels RV began working on the RV soon after we arrived and took care of all the issues we had.
Marilyn & I have spent time here before. In fact, our RV was purchased here back in 2011.
At that time we discovered a great place to eat in Fayetteville.
It is called the “Catfish Hole” and has wonderful fish.
With that in mind we put the Catfish Hole in the GPS and drove to it with our mouths watering.
Those of you who have ever been to any restaurant with me, know the rest of the story. That’s right! They were closed on Mondays!!!!
The Cracker Barrel back in Springdale was now our new destination, and we enjoyed our meal, although it tasted nothing like Catfish.
Back at Wheels RV, I started working on replacing the Camera monitor in the truck.
I called Bob for encouragement and finished up around 3:00 this afternoon.
I haven’t yet tried the new monitor with the truck connected to the RV, but I turned it on and it powers up just fine.
Tomorrow we’ll check it for proper operation, and if the results are good, we’ll tow Casper behind the RV as we head toward West Memphis, AR and the Tom Sawyer RV Park.
For tonight we are parked behind Wheels RV, where we are quite comfortable, intending to watch Dancing With The Stars, and get a good night of sleep.
Six hours or so “On The Road” tomorrow and we’ll rest for awhile.
Life is Good!
