Tuesday, May 5th.and Wednesday the 6th.

Our campground was – on top of a hill in Cavaliere Sur Mer. By the way, we have had no problems finding campgrounds on our trip. Our TomTom (Richard) , once we plug in the coordinates, leads us to the one of our choice.

(found in one of the discount camping books we have purchased – which in this case is in French. Thank goodness, latitudes and longitudes is a universal language.)

Not willing to miss another meal we headed – downhill – to find a restaurant well before closing time. It turned out to be quite an expensive meal of seafood and wine but it you are only going to eat a meal twice a day not a bad price and with a pleasant view of the harbour thrown in.

We wandered the harbour and watched a few more games of bocci ball. Our intent was to catch the bus home but just missed it. Fortunately a cab was driving by and we hailed it. I am getting really tired of walking uphill.

Wednesday, May 6th.

Just around the corner from us was the regional market held every Wed. Everything you might want to buy was available from food to outdoor furniture. All jammed together on the street which was closed off.

We managed to buy some cheese after tasting some samples. You should have seen us trying to communicate that we wanted some “old” cheddar. Anyway what we bought was very tasty.

We rested the rest of the day.
