We left at 1:45 for Barrie, our last camping stop. The road south was a 4-lane, divided highway and the drive was easy compared with the two-lane and gravel roads we had experienced on many legs of our adventure. The large number of cars and the stores and other signs of civilization, began to bring us back to "reality" and it was a bit of a culture shock. The KOA we stayed at was filled with vacationers and there were more thunderstorms. We left at 9AM and headed to Toronto, hoping to miss the rush hour.
